2025 Hypothermia Prevention Shelter
March 2 - March 9
Holy Comforter will host a one-week Hypothermia Prevention Shelter from Sunday, March 2 to Sunday, March 9. In partnership with FACETS, our Community Hall will host 30+ guests who live and work without a home. Unlike last year, where guests were housed in a central location and we brought food and supplies to them, our parish will provide a warm place to sleep and nourishing meals.
In addition, our shelter will offer much-needed personal supplies (toothpaste/brushes, socks, soap/shampoo, etc.), Smart Trip cards, gasoline cards, and entertainment such as music, games, books, and magazines. Please drop off donated supplies in the big green bin marked “Hypothermia Shelter” in the Narthex.
