Members of the Holy Comforter youth ministry arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marking the start of what is shaping up to be a meaningful and fun trip. After a swift landing, we met our guides Chris and Colby and then we made our way through the bustling city streets and treated ourselves to a variety of local lunch options. Afterwards, we filed into the vans and crossed over to the island’s south shore and into Camp Caribe. We were welcomed by smiling faces and friendly dogs, after which we dined on a delicious feast of spaghetti and meatballs, explored the camp, and ended the night with an evening prayer around the campfire. Looking forward to an eventful week of service here in Puerto Rico!
