Did you know that the Creation Care Ministry hosts Third Saturday Gardening on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon?
We have been wondering what our outdoor sacred space could look like if we started tending it as part of an ecosystem. We don’t know the answer to that yet, but we’re willing to give it a try.
If this sounds like something that interests you, then come and join us as we work with this fragile Earth, our island home. Our next work day will be Saturday, October 21. There are many tasks that vary from digging and chopping to weeding and carrying logs. Bring your favorite tools and find a job that suits you.
On November 18 we’ll be busy spreading wood chips and top soil. So, if you can, please bring a wheelbarrow, a rake, and lots of energy, and join us on our beautiful campus. If you have neither a wheelbarrow nor a rake, join us anyway. There’ll be plenty of work for everyone. Join us any time between 9:00 a.m. and noon. Questions? Please contact Margaret Bain.
