Do you enjoy nature? Have you felt a connection to God in the great outdoors? Do you feel a sense of awe, wonder, worship, or gratitude in wild spaces? Are you curious or excited about the work our tireless Creation Care Ministry has done to make our shared property more inviting for humans and all God’s creatures?
If so, come join parishioners Amy Heard and Joanne Menke on July 13 to explore our experiences in nature, review what we know about how spending time in nature can heal us, and brainstorm what we can do in community here at Holy Comforter to offer more opportunities to find spirit and divinity in nature.
We will reflect on the Four Elements, use our five senses, explore how the arts can connect us with nature, and consider new ways of appreciating wild nature.
Although our discussion and all activities will be indoors, we will offer hands on ways to contemplate and interact with nature.
