Is there something interesting and important that you never knew about George Mason? Our local university is familiar to all of us, but how much do we really know about the man it honors? Come to the August Senior Saints meeting to find out.
Come join us for the meeting, lunch together, and a fun and informative program presented by retired Senior Assistant Attorney General and University Counsel for George Mason University, Mr. Tom Moncure. He will speak on the subject of “George Mason, The Man.” Bring a friend if you like. We would love to have a good size group!
Mr. Moncure also previously held elected public offices as Clerk of Court for Stafford County and as a member of the House of Delegates. He retired from service as a commissioned Army Military Police Officer following 26 years in the Army Reserves and Virginia Army National Guard.
Bring your own lunch. Desserts and beverages will be provided.
If you would like to bring a dessert to share, please email Barbara Fitzsimmons ahead of time or call 703-433-0987, so she will know how many to expect.
