Holy Comforter Concert Series: The Vivaldi Project

The Vivaldi Project is a period-instrument ensemble based in Falls Church VA that has been praised for its brilliant and expressive playing.
Since its founding in 2006, the group has presented innovative programs of Baroque and Classical repertoire throughout the United States, combining scholarship and high-level performance skills to both educate and delight audiences.
Their program at Holy Comforter will feature works by J. C. Bach, Haydn, Boccherini, and 18th-Century violin virtuosa Maddalena Lombardini Sirmen from the soon-to-be-released fourth volume of their critically-acclaimed CD series Discovering the Classical String Trio. The concert is free and open to the public, with donations requested to support Holy Comforter’s music programs.
