Book and Movie Club: My Name is Pauli Murray

Our special book and movie club meets monthly, alternating between discussing books and movies, featuring titles that will deepen our understanding of racial justice. We include fiction and nonfiction, drama and documentaries.
Join us on Monday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. in-person in the Ministry Center for a screening and discussion of the documentary, “My Name is Pauli Murray.”
Fifteen years before Rosa Parks refuses to give up her bus seat, Pauli Murray fights for social justice. A non-binary Black lawyer, activist, poet, and priest, Murray influenced both Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall.
