A Look at GPC Through the Art of the Met

Have you ever wondered what Gestalt Pastoral Care (GPC) is all about? You may have seen it mentioned in the Sunday bulletin and our Comfortable Word eNewsletter and been curious; now you are invited to experience GPC in an intriguing informational gathering in the Chapel on Sunday, July 10, after the 10:00 a.m. service.
Using great works of art from the Metropolitan Museum as a way to encounter our inner landscapes, we will engage in an enjoyable and revelatory time of self awareness and discovery to enhance our self care through the lens of GPC. After all, as we love ourselves, we are better equipped to love our neighbors!
This introduction to GPC will be facilitated by Holy Comforter’s GPC Minister and Trainer, Alexandra MacCracken.
