The Town of Vienna Virginia’s Liberty Amendments Month celebrates the following Amendments to the Constitution:

13th (Abolition of Slavery), 14th (Citizenship and Equal Rights), 15th (Voting Rights), 19th (Women’s Right to Vote)

Community organizations, businesses and individuals are participating in four weeks of festivities from June 19 through July 17, 2021. That includes Holy Comforter!

Winifred Conkling

On Thursday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m., join us for a presentation by parishioner and author Winifred Conkling in the Ministry Center.

Winifred Conkling, parishioner and award winning author of Votes for Women!, will talk about the history of women’s suffrage from 1848 to the ratification of the 19th Amendment.
