Senior Saints Tour Ben Lomond Historic Site and Lunch at Clyde’s Willow Creek

Used as a hospital following the 1861 Battle of First Manassas, signatures of Federal soldiers who occupied the property in 1862 are still visible inside the house. Tour the house, where you can smell, touch, hear, and taste history. Then see the restored slave quarter, smokehouse, dairy, and Rose Garden. Tablets will be available for virtual tours for those who do not care to use the stairs to the second floor.

Lunch will be at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in the Broadlands, Virginia.
Your check for $40 delivered to the Church Office will cover your bus transportation, tour, and lunch. The bus will depart the upper parking lot at 10:15 a.m. and return at approximately 3 p.m.
