Our special book and movie club meets monthly, alternating between discussing books and movies, featuring titles that will deepen our understanding of racial justice. We include fiction and nonfiction, drama and documentaries.

Maus I: A Survivor’s Tale: My Father Bleeds History is a nonfiction graphic book in which author Spiegelman interviews his father about his experiences as a Polish Jew and Holocaust survivor. Come discuss this book that has been banned in some schools because of some of its language and imagery. An offering of the Becoming Beloved Community Book and Movie Club. All welcome. Questions?
